The Doctor of Education programs in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership at the University of North Florida. Our mission

Join us for a virtual information session on the EdD programs at UNF. Our UNF EdD programs are 60-credit, hybrid, cohort programs, with eight semesters of coursework and a dissertation. The program is typically completed in three-and-a-half to four years. As a member of the Carnegie Project for Education Doctorate, our mission is to prepare scholarly practitioners who can design and use research to improve educational outcomes in both formal and information settings.

Led by Program Directors Dr. David Hoppey or Dr. Kim Cheek, the session will cover:

  • Program highlights - why the UNF EdD program is unique.
  • The admissions and application processes and timelines
    • March 1—early admissions
    • May 1—regular admissions
  • Financial support

Who should attend?

  • Those who have completed a masters degree and have a minimum of three years teaching experience in formal or informal educational settings
  • Come ready to learn, ask questions, and envision what’s next.
