Thank you for your interest in our Master of Science in Health in Kinesiology and Lifestyle Medicine program at the University of North Florida. You have taken the first step in becoming a Kinesiology and Lifestyle Medicine professional, one of the most robust areas of healthcare in the 21st century. Our program admissions process utilizes the following criteria: 1) grade point average (GPA) and 2) personal interview with the Program Director Dr. James Churilla and potentially other KALM faculty. The interview can be done via Teams or Zoom for applicants who are not local, but in-person is preferred. The program website can be found here:
https://www.unf.edu/brooks/clinical-applied-movement-sciences/kinesiology-lifestyle-medicine-msh.html. Our program is very competitive, we have space for 15-20 students per cohort each fall, and we incorporate a rolling admissions process, which means as applications are received, they are reviewed and if the applicant meets the program admittance criteria, they are contacted within 10-14 days to schedule an interview. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you regarding your interview soon. If you have already interviewed with me, please be sure to complete the application process, the sooner your application is in our program queue, the greater chance you have of being admitted.
